Session details

In our initial session I will ask you about your current concerns, history and goals for therapy. This will help me develop a provisional personalised framework and treatment plan that we can discuss. I will also explain basic principles of CBT and answer questions you might have. We will get a first impression of each other, which will help us to decide whether we feel we can work together.

Weekly sessions offer you consistent support and maintain therapeutic momentum, ensuring steady progress without interruptions. This regular schedule is essential for effectively learning and integrating new skills into your daily life. Additionally, weekly meetings allow for close monitoring of your progress, timely adjustments to your treatment plan, and immediate feedback, all contributing to better outcomes for you.

The number of sessions needed will depend on your individual case. We will agree on a specific number of sessions once we start your therapy and will revise this according to your needs and goals on a regular basis.

Everything discussed during our sessions remains strictly confidential. We will further discuss the specifics of confidentiality when we meet in person, ensuring you feel comfortable and informed about how your information is handled.
